Kelsea Fischer was born and raised in Colorado resides there today. Kelsea Fischer graduated with a BA in Art and Design with a teaching emphasis k-12 from the University of Northern Colorado in 2015. After obtaining a BA she taught k-5 visual arts at American Academy Charter school in Castle Pines Colorado. In 2023 Kelsea graduated from the Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy with a Masters in Studio Arts. Kelsea Fischer is an Award-Winning Art teacher gaining the following recognitions and awards. 2018 Young Art Teacher of the year from the Colorado Art Education Association. Apple Award Nominee for American Academy for Douglas County School District in 2018. Students won multiple awards including best of show two years in a row. Kelsea Fischer’s classroom and personal teachings were documented and interviewed in multiple magazines. Kelsea Fischer decided to continue her training in New Jersey with the Da Vinci Initiative and with the Florence Academy of Art where she finished one year of full training in their Drawing Program in 2019. Then continued more education with Grand Central Atelier in New York and graduated from their 2 year program in 2022. While attending GCA, Fischer won scholarship money for her Nike Cast from GCA, won the junior scholarship membership from the Salmagundi Club, selected and was the recipient of the John F. and Anna Lee Stacey Scholarship in 2021. Won scholarship from Jerry’s Artarama in 2021. Fischer is currently obtaining a Masters in Studio Arts from the Florence Academy of art and is drawing and painting in her studio.
